Our Genetic Laboratory using the most modern PCR-based techniques fulfils orders from external customers to confine illegal logging.

Following the site investigation to define site condition, our colleagues draw up plans for the establishment of (mostly) woody energy plantations and their approval procedure on order.

The mission of the portal is to be a GIS based source of knowledge in relation with forests and forestry.

On Bajti Breeding Yard, we produce and market propagation materials of poplars and willows for foresters and planters of energy forests. We offer poplar and willow varieties maintained by FRI, cultivar candidates, and pure black poplar clones verified by laboratory tests which are recommended for regeneration of poplar plantations on protected areas.

Before forestation and establishing woody energy plantations, site survery is conducted for our customers to define ecological conditions. It consists of the soil profile analysis and laboratory tests. Based on the results, expert reports are made with recommendations of the most suitable species and varieties for planting.

Our Ecology laboratory specialized in the analysis of precipitation (the quantification of pH, conductivity, alkalinity and anion), parts of plants (the definition of C, N, S, and the total Ca, Mg, K, Na, Fe, Cu, Zn, Ni, Pb, Mn and P elements) and soil (soil physics and inorganic soil chemistry measurements in a wide range of parameters) fulfils orders from external customers. The results of analysis are evaluated by our engineers.

In our lab, we cultivate pathogens, as well as specifically define them and the harmful organisms from the samples of parts of sick plants collected on fields.

There are such tree species along forest destinations, in arboretums and on the streets which could pose danger to our properties and also our lives due to their health problems. Damage is mostly inflicted due to the internal decay of wood in roothead and boles. The examination with ArborSonic 3D Acoustic Tomograph by our colleagues is non-destructive. Our colleagues’ examination with ArborSonic 3D Acoustic Tomograph analyses the bole of trees non-destructively.

The ecocamp in Püspökladány awaits school groups with several exciting programmes of forest school and ecotourism.
